NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund (LDEF) – www.nowldef.org
NOW LDEF pursues equality for women and girls in the workplace and the schools, the family and courts, through litigation, education, and public information. LDEF also provides technical assistance to the federal and state governments. In addition, LDEF organizes grassroots coalitions on a vareity of issues across the U.S. The group has a separate mission and board of directors from the National Organization for Women.
